Timeline

1977

Born in Natchez, Mississippi (across the river from Ferriday, LA) on March 09, 1977. He was a full term baby but breathed in the womb during labor. It was 5 long days and nights before we knew if he would live or die. And I thought THAT was hell.

1980

Bill's baby brother, Ryan, is born at Jeff Davis Memorial Hospital in Natchez, MS on August 8th.

My water broke that night as we were getting dressed to go to a Gumbo supper. I told Little Bill to tell his Daddy that my water broke. He ran out of the bathroom shouting, "Momma said the faucet broke".

2007

Passed away on November 17, 2007 at the age of 30. NOw THIS really IS hell. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have to bury my child. I prayed every single night for their protection. I think the Lord took him FOR his protection. I can just see his Great-Grandma Stella patting her foot and waiting for him at the gates. Bill struggled with personal demons for which he refused help. He struggles no longer...peace at last.
